Red Sky and Grey Eagle
Both are full body sculptures, made of Cernit polymer clay.  What a picture of freedom!  A young Native American woman out for an afternoon of hunting with her favorite friend.  She carries a sculpted bow and has a quiver of arrows strapped to her back.  Red Sky's costume is soft, heavily fringed leather with a hand beaded top and wrap skirt.  She wears leather wrist straps and fur strips adorn her ankles above bare feet.  On her right thigh she has her trusty knife in its scabbard should she need it.  Grey Eagle is dapple with Tibetan fur for his mane and tail. He is attached to the Manzanita wood base with brass rods, and she is post mounted to his back.  She will need to be glued for permanence.  Including the 2 inch thick base, the sculpture is 15" tall.  The base is 11 X 7 inches at its widest part.
