SNOWSTORM SANTA

A small deer has joined Santa in his travels through this snowy landscape.  The wind buffets them as it swirls snow about and onto Santa's clothing and the large toy bag on his back.  Both are hand sculpted original sculptures made of Cernit polymer clay.  Santa is approximately 11" including the stand which is covered in papier mache' and highlighted with snow.  The many shades used in the color washes result in the lovely colors seen.  The toy bag holds gift boxes and a small teddy bear.  This beautiful Santa is available at Reasons to Believe.  You may see the work in progress on this Santa on my blog Swoopin Along .
