She is a full body clay sculpture, dressed in a middy made of vintage batiste, trimmed in embroidery and lace. She wears rolled up jeans tied with silk ribbons, socks and sculpted tennis shoes tied with silk thread. The soft seaside breeze is about to blow away the sailor hat she holds on her head. Her eyes are hand painted. She sits on papier mache rocks and holds a seashell. 'Summer' brings back memories of summers when we were kids on a beach, acting like kids. Summer would be 14" tall if standing.
